Configure Email Notifications

You can send invoices, receipts and purchase orders to customers or vendors through email instantly from Novo. You can also send order updates and payment reminders through email. Not only that, your customer can even pay for those invoices online through all the major payment gateways. To send emails, you can choose Novo email gateway or you can setup your own email address through SMTP.

If you wish to use Novo Email Gateway, just enter following details

Email Vendor: Select “Novo Email Gateway”.
Sender Name: Your name or your company name. This will be used as email sender name.
Reply to: your own email address. where customers will reply back.

If you wish to use your own email address from Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo, enter following details

Email Vendor: Select Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo.
Sender Name: Your name or your company name. This will be used as email sender name.
Email address: Your Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo email address.
Password: Your Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo email password.

If you wish to use other email gateway or your own custom webmail address like email@emailaddress.com or yourname@yourdomain.com, enter following details

Email Vendor: Select Custom Email Gateway.
Sender Name: Your name or your company name. This will be used as email sender name.
SMTP Server: Enter the SMTP server address. Contact your email vendor to know the SMTP server address.
SMTP PORT: Enter PORT. Contact your email vendor to know the SMTP PORT.
Email address: Your SMTP email address.
Password: Your SMTP email password.
